Bassadone Automotive Group has been operating in the Baltic market since 1997, and since its inception, the conglomerate has been dedicated to the continuous business growth in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. On September 9, 2022, as per the decision of the sole owner of AutoHalle Aktsiaselts, the company was restructured into a limited liability company. The share capital of the company remained the same after the restructuring, and the management structure of the company became uniform with other companies in the Bassadone Automotive Group conglomerate. In the fiscal year, the primary focus of AutoHalle OÜ's operations in 2022 was to expand and promote its retail business. The company's portfolio showed significant growth in 2022, with new brands added in the previous year, Hyundai and Suzuki, showing an increase of 64% and 410% respectively. The company's operations in Estonia are concentrated in the Tallinn and Harju County region. The investment made in the subsidiary AutoHalle SIA in 2021 has proven to be justified. AutoHalle OÜ's turnover in 2022 was 31,855 thousand euros (in 2021 it was 71,595 thousand euros). The turnover decreased by 55.5% compared to 2021 (in 2021 it grew by 5.8% compared to 2020). The main reason for the decrease in turnover is due to the fact that in 2021 (January to November), the company operated as an importer of Citroën in the Baltic region in addition to retail, and 2022 was the first year in which the company operated only in the retail sector. The sale of new cars decreased by 74.5% compared to the previous year's result (in 2021 it decreased by 1.7% compared to 2020). In addition to the difference in the retail and import base, the decrease in sales volume was also affected by the supply and raw material problems of car manufacturers, which were due to the aftermath of the corona crisis and the politically unstable situation. The sale of used cars decreased by 35% compared to the previous year's result (in 2021 it increased by 5% compared to 2020). The decline in used car sales is related to the decrease in new car sales, as a result of which the number of cars arriving as exchange cars decreased. The turnover of the aftermarket (car maintenance and bodywork and spare parts sales) remained at 5,751 (in 2021 it was 5,317) thousand euros in 2022, which was 8% more than in 2021 (in 2021 it decreased by 19% compared to 2020). Significant environmental and social impacts AutoHalle OÜ's management system has been audited by Bureau Veritas Certification and meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the environmental management system meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. The company attaches great importance to environmental friendliness and employee awareness of environmental aspects related to activities. The AutoHalle concept supports both the electrification of car trade and rapid digitalization. The appropriateness of the quality policy is continuously analyzed every year during the management review.
