Multimek Baltic OÜ was established in 2012 and is located in Estonia, 40 km from Tallinn, in Kehra.

The company currently employs 80 specialists, to which are added another 50 workers through temporary employment. Multimek

Baltic OÜ operates in a modern 7500 square meter production building, where the manufacture of large-scale details is also possible.

Our strength is primarily the manufacture of medium-sized steel structures. We offer gas cutting, bending and welding of steel sheets. If necessary, we manufacture products from start to finish, including assembly and surface treatment. In our activities, we always follow quality, precise delivery time and flexible pricing.

Multimek Baltic OÜ is constantly developing its supply chain to reduce emissions, applying the principles of sustainable development in procurement, production and logistics. The proportion of recycling in our production is very large and in a few years, we plan to introduce solar energy in the factory.

The factor that most affected production in 2022 was Russia's attack on Ukraine and the subsequent war.

Although the good development in the market in 2021 continued at the beginning of the year, the war posed significant challenges to production and the economy. The hardest of these were the decreasing availability of raw materials, especially steel, and the subsequent truly powerful price increase in every production-related field. The rise in Euribor began to affect us at the end of the year and doubled our loan interest payments.

At the beginning of 2022, the volume of production orders was very good, but at the end of the second quarter, the first global signals began to appear that volumes might start to fall sharply in the fall, as interest rates rose and inflation was very high. The volume of orders in the third quarter did not decrease, but the first real signs of a decline began to show in the forecasts for the fourth quarter, which unfortunately later turned out to be true.

To be competitive in the market, we updated our pricing model, thus better responding to existing challenges. As a result of these activities and actions, our financial results were relatively good and we partially achieved our goals.

In order to mitigate risks associated with one major client, we started negotiations with a new client at the end of the second quarter of 2022 and received the first orders at the beginning of the third quarter. 2022 year
