BMI Estonia OÜ, formerly known as Monier OÜ, (hereinafter the Company) started operations on March 9, 1989.

Since April 2017, BMI Estonia OÜ belongs to the Standard Industries BMI Group (hereinafter the Group), whose main activities are the production and sale of waterproofing and roofing materials, roofing accessories, as well as chimney and ventilation systems.

As a result of the restructuring project started in the Group in 2020, since 03.12.2020 BMI Estonia OÜ is 100% owned by BMI

Group Holdings UK Limited in the UK.

As part of the Group's restructuring plan, on 05.07.2022, Estonian companies OÜ Monier and Icopal OÜ were merged. During the merger, the merging company was Icopal OÜ, which ceased operations without liquidation proceedings. The balance sheet date of the merger was 01.01.2023

The main activity of BMI Estonia OÜ is the sale of roofing materials and modular chimneys in Estonia (EMTAK C 46131), which accounts for 56.04% of sales revenue (2021: 50.2%). 43.96% of the company's 2022 sales turnover (2021: 49.8%) is made up of the sale of metal self-produced roofing accessories (EMTAK C 25991), of which 99.21% (2021: 93.4%) is exported to other Group companies.

According to the Estonian Association of Building Materials Producers, in 2021, the sales turnover of member companies increased by 19%, with the sale of building materials in Estonia increasing by 24% and exports by 10% compared to 2020. BMI Estonia OÜ's sales revenue increased by 45.3% in Estonia compared to 2021 (2021 compared to 2020: increased by 17%). Sales revenue from exports increased by 19.7% (2021: decreased by 1%), with the share of exports in total turnover accounting for 45% (2021: 49%).

During the reporting period, a total of 117 thousand euros (2021: 370 thousand euros) was invested in tangible fixed assets, including 52 thousand euros (2021: 231 thousand euros) in production machines and equipment.

The goal of OÜ BMI Estonia for the next financial year is to increase market share in the sloping roof sector and expand the production and export of metal roofing accessories. In the opinion of the management of OÜ BMI Estonia, the company continues to operate.
