The construction market in the Baltic States was active in 2022, significant investments were made in distribution networks. The green transition - investments in wind and solar parks - increasingly affects the activity of the electricity market. Therefore, the importance of the construction market in terms of electrical work is decreasing.

In 2023, in addition to maintaining sales revenue and profitability, attention is focused on reducing risks related to raw material and labor shortages and implementing sustainability. Attention is paid to increasing production efficiency through investments, implementing various digital solutions. The goal is to increase market share in the Latvian and Lithuanian markets through enhanced marketing activities.

Prysmian Group Baltics AS has set regional goals based on the group's sustainability strategy. The Baltic scorecard shows that the region has good results in several areas. For 2022, we chose four target areas from 16 indicators where to look for opportunities and implement improvements: the proportion of recycled waste, the percentage of drums reused during the year (in tons), the accident frequency index (IF), the accident severity index (IG). Improvements in these target areas would most affect local markets.
