Electrical Engineering Factory "Estel" AS is one of the first companies in Estonia after the country became a member of CERN, which won the tender for the supply of equipment to this organization. Eight high-tech converters were supplied for the power supply of the Large Hadron Collider, the largest charged particle accelerator. The cost of the equipment supplied during the implementation of the project amounted to 89,580 euros.

Considering its scientific and technical potential, the company pays a lot of attention to the development of new products every year, and also constantly participates in events organized by Estonian and EU research organizations. EAS (Enterprise Estonia) chose our company to participate

in the BSBF 2022 (Big Science Business Forum 2022) congress, which focuses on the cooperation of Europe's main research organizations and institutions related to the development of high technologies and industry. This allowed to establish partnership relations with leading European research organizations and to participate in various projects similar to CERN.

Taking into account the trends of society towards alternative energy, the company actively started working on "green" projects. In particular, a decision was made to join the Estonian Hydrogen Technologies Association to start developing hydrogen power sources. This work will continue in 2023.

In 2022, the company continued its active work in target markets. For example, in November 2022, we participated in the Saudi Airports Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Airports Exhibition has become the largest event dedicated to the development of Saudi Arabian airports, with thousands of industry representatives from around the world participating. As a result of this work, victories were achieved in several projects in the Middle East region, the implementation of which is planned for 2023-2024.

In 2023, the company plans to develop new products in the field of power semiconductor devices. A lot of preparatory work has been done to master technological processes, the most modern equipment has been selected and ordered. The start of serial deliveries of new semiconductor devices is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2023.
