Kitman Thulema AS is 100% owned by the Estonian private capital investment and holding company, NG Investeeringud Group, which operates in the commerce, industry and real estate sectors.

Kitman Thulema AS has two subsidiaries: 100% stake in Kit Kaluste OY in Finland and a 100% stake in Kitman Coldtech OÜ, established in December 2021.

In 2022, the main areas of activity of the Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group were furniture manufacturing and the construction and maintenance of refrigeration systems. We offer public furniture and interior solutions to the customer through planning, development, production and project management, i.e. providing solutions from concept development and design to interior installation, ending with aftercare.

We offer commercial and industrial refrigeration solutions from consultation to turnkey solutions. The entire production process of the company, starting from design and technical drawings, and ending with installation, takes place in Estonia.

The Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group is a leading developer and marketer of modern technology interior and refrigeration systems with long-term experience, whose competitive advantage is a clear technological lead over other market players, thanks to which they can offer flexible high-quality project solutions and more complex design ideas, which was the greatest value for customers in 2022 and will continue to be so in the future.

The goal of the consolidation group is to develop an environmentally friendly, responsible and sustainable approach to everything, from simpler daily activities to large investment projects. They sort their production waste and constantly look for new ways to reuse it most efficiently and energy-efficiently. 95% of Kitman Thulema AS products are recyclable. In the field of refrigeration technology, the company reduces its environmental impacts by using environmentally friendly refrigerants CO2. In all new refrigeration system installations, we avoid the use of environmentally harmful refrigerants. They are actively working to reduce their carbon footprint. The consolidation group recognizes its role and responsibility in society and is aware that environmentally friendly activity is the basis for a sustainably functioning society.

Ethical business is one of the company's core values and is an important success factor for the company. By adhering to high ethical principles, profitable growth is promoted, stakeholder trust is won and fair competition and equal treatment are supported.

The Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group is able to offer high-quality project solutions thanks to the many specialists working in the company. In 2022, the Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group employed 134 people full-time (2021: 133 people).

The parent company of the Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group also actively contributes to the promotion of education, awarding two scholarships each year to outstanding students of product development and production technology and wood and textile technology at Tallinn University of Technology, thus contributing to the development of important sectors in the Estonian economy.

The consolidation group is a member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Estonian Furniture Manufacturers Association, the Estonian Refrigeration Association, the Defense Industry Association and the Reliable Partner, and a supporting member of the Estonian Association of Interior Architects.

The long-term customers of the Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group are Selver, Kaubamaja, Kesko Oy, Decora, Espak, I.L.U., etc. Their products were exported to Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden and Norway in 2022. In 2023, the parent company of the Kitman Thulema AS consolidation group plans to expand to the Icelandic market.

The major special projects in 2022 were the Tallinn Ballet and Music School, Tallinn Department Store Women's World, I.L.U stores in Pärnu and Tallinn, G4S office furnishing, etc. Outside Estonia, Burger King restaurants in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Radisson hotel furniture in Oslo, Oslo airport check-in counters, Norwegian jewelry store chain furniture, Bergen children and family centers, several special furniture projects for Norwegian offices, Finnish bookstores, German mini-apartment furniture, special solutions for a new office building in downtown Oslo.

The production area of the parent company of the consolidation group is almost 16,000m2. In 2022, production was largely divided into metal production and wood production. The wood production department produces interiors from various materials, mainly MDF, plywood, PLP, melamine and laminate.

The major equipment of the wood department are an automatic storage cutting saw, a panel saw, edge lines, skippers, CNCs, grinding machines, a precision saw and liquid paint finishing. The metal department has a powder coating line, a welding department, bending machines, a tube laser, tube bending, a wire department, a laser punch combination machine, a sheet metal processing center, a guillotine, a sheet laser, a wire welding robot and a shot blasting device.
