Credit Score- international credit management tool
The Credit Score of the Inforegister is now also an internationally recognized credit management instrument and is already in use in several foreign credit insurance groups. The credit score has been developed in cooperation with the Software Technology Development Center and data researchers of the University of Tartu.
How accurate this model is?
The model has been developed using machine learning methods, which include self-learning algorithms and are able to identify hidden connections and provide predictions of corporate insolvency. The accuracy of the model is 99.5%!
What does this score show?
The data model changes constantly over time, according to changes in the input (tax arrears, problems of related companies of the board member, taxes paid, etc.). The credit score predicts the possibility of the company's insolvency or compulsory liquidation within the next 12 months and expresses the maximum probability that the rated company will default on its obligations to the creditor.
The scores calculated by the model always range from 0 to 1, where 0 means low and 1 means high credit risk. To make credit decisions easier and faster, all scores are divided into five risk classes.
Classes are based on the traffic light model: green, when transaction is open; yellow, when to wait and control; and red, when to stop credit sales.
The main areas in using the credit score are:
- Pre-market and post-market inspections
- Setting credit limits and payment terms
- Establishment of a unified credit policy within the company
- Integrate with your own sales/accounting systems, receiving up-to-date information instantly
- Ordering a board member's weighted credit score (average of his companies) with a CSV file
